My journey in finance began back in 1976. While my peers were still in college benches, I was already learning the business of manager at the Credit Bank in practice. I believed little in mere theory, so I bet on experience – and that turned out to be the right choice. After only 5 years, I won a professional competition of recent graduates with degrees and became director of the Raiffeisenkas in Ronse.
In my career of 45 years, I learned the tricks of the trade at the biggest market players: from Generale Bank to Elantis and Baloise. I got to know the banking system from the inside out, and it was precisely this experience that became the foundation when I founded Euro Fin in 2002.
Why exactly would you come to me?
I don’t promise miracles in 5 minutes – serious finance requires an eye for detail. But I do promise you this: if banks label your file as “complex” or “atypical,” I won’t put it at the bottom of the pile. On the contrary, for me that is a personal challenge.
